Though Dana never dreamed of being an author, a burst of inspiration compelled her to put pen to paper. What started as a short tale to inspire and entertain her children sparked an expansive saga within the literary world of Water Dreamers that would consume the following chapters of her life.
With four children at home and no formal training, she immersed herself in the craft of writing, studying techniques and finding daily inspiration from authors like David Wolverton. Through tireless effort and countless revisions, her work evolved into an enthralling fantasy adventure for readers of all ages.
Now, with the support of her husband, grown children, and six grandchildren, Dana is excited to offer books one and two of a five-book series—Burning Mountain and Unsuspecting World. Originally from Canada, Dana currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah.
